Tarek Abdel Latif, a father and loving husband, was one of the many Egyptians who never came home on the Day of Rage. He leaves behind a wife and two young daughters and a free country that is humbled by his courage and sacrifice.
A group of young people collaborated on creating graffitis for the martyrs of the revolution. Ahmed Eid, one of the team, told us how they heard of Tarek Abdel Latif’s story and decided to give martyrs a street memorial, that expresses the spirit of the revolution: free, creative and thoughtfully contemporary. They shall never be forgotten. May they rest in peace.
