It all started with Imagine; a talk by Tarek Nour, Founder, and Chairman of Tarek Nour Group. He talked about his experience in the industry, breaking down his memorable and famous advertisements. After that, we were introduced to Escaping the Competitive Herd by Basel El Deeb, Partner, and Co-Ceo at Tarek Nour Group. Basel ElDeeb’s talk was all about finding new approaches to the industry. Most importantly, it was about paving the way to think more creatively and as the title suggests; to escape the herd of repetitiveness.
One of our favorite panels was The Game of Data vs. Content Creation by Kareem Abo Gamrah, CEO of Peace Cake, and Hazem Ragheb, Senior Content Lead & Content Host, also at Peace Cake. Peace Cake has been leading the way in regard to new, fresh, and creative content creation for years. Peace Cake has truly proved itself in the creative scene with its unique content. Shows like Romanseya Manseya and Eli Faker Faker have been a true mark in the content creation scene. In this panel, Kareem and Hazem talk about their content creation process. Moreover, they discuss the constant battle between creation and managing data.
The summit shed light on the concept of creative economy, which aligns with the Kingdom’s vision 2030. This vision focuses on attracting prominent leaders in the creative field worldwide, to exchange experiences and put forward discussions about the industry. Therefore, leading new generations and rising creatives into the scene and expanding on all levels.
It is safe to say that the Creative Industry Summit is a true pillar in the creative scene. With every edition, it grows and expands to more audiences and names in the creative scenes. We can’t wait to see what the next edition will bring!
