Real Fur no more! Armani Says Yes!

We can finally say that the world is beginning to get a sense of right and wrong when it comes to animal rights. Starting with sea world’s announcement that they will stop captivating, breeding and creating shows with whales, and now the latest update on animal welfare, Armani has decided that it will not manufacture fashion with fur anymore. Animal rights have finally reached the fashion world too!

“We can finally say that the world is beginning to get a sense of right and wrong when it comes to animal rights.”

Italian designer Giorgio Armani announced that his brand will stop using fur in all their products starting with their Winter2016 collection! Fur Free Alliance has a big role to play in The Armani group’s decision. Although this could effect the brand in a negative way, reducing sales and profits, since the average fur coat costs around $5000. It seems like the right – and more importantly, more ethical – decision on the long term. People are now more aware of how fur items are made, and more and more people are aware of animal rights.

Armani took the first step to show people that you can have luxurious products without supporting animal cruelty! With technological advances now, you can have a product of the same quality without having to hurt innocent animal lives.

“Armani has decided that it will not manufacture fashion with fur anymore. Animal rights have finally reached the fashion world too!”

The Armani group, which includes Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani, AJ Armani Jeans and home ware brand Armani Casa, will all be fur free! We can’t wait to see which brands will soon follow!
