Maison Pyramide Ego & East

Maison Pyramide, MENA’s fastest-growing consumer brand-building platform, announced today that it has completed the 100% acquisition of Ego & East, a leading Dubai-based talent management agency. Ego & East represents some of the most coveted regional celebrities including Karen Wazen. The acquisition was structured as an all-stock transaction, with Ego & East’s two owners, Reem and Natalya Kanj, joining Maison Pyramide as shareholders and executive partners.

Maison Pyramide’s Mission

Maison Pyramide continues to fulfill its mission of representing rising talents and consumer brands. Co-founded in 2016 by Giovanina Attiye, Nathalie Mroue, and María Munoz, Maison Pyramide never lost sight of its vision. Moreover, now the expansion of Ego & East, Maison Pyramide continues to grow alongside its main mission, never forgetting what the message is all about.

The group currently offers a 360 approach to brand building, with services covering strategy and Marcom consulting, experiential activations, brand partnership, wholesale representation and distribution, and talent booking and management.

The acquisition of EGO & EAST Talent Agency supports Maison Pyramide’s existing talent booking and talent management services and adds a lot to its successful track record in the region. Maison Pyramide is no stranger to large-scale talent projects. From Saudi Arabia’s first Soundstorm festival in 2019 to more recent international talent events which the group is currently carrying out across Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia; Maison Pyramide’s efforts in representing talents in the MENA region are always grand.

EGO & EAST

Founded in 2016 by two sisters, Reem and Natalya Kanj, Ego & East has built itself into a highly selective talent management agency in the Middle East, driven by Maison Pyramide’s same passion for fueling rising talents.

“Together with Maison Pyramide’s existing talent business as well as ancillary services; we are now able to give international brands unparalleled access to both international and regional talents.”, said Reem Kanj.

“It has also been truly rewarding for us to see some of our talents growing into celebrity influencers. By combining forces with Maison Pyramide, we now look forward to growing, on a significantly larger scale.” continued Natalya Kanj.

Future Steps

Maison Pyramide has already set clear plans for the next 24 months following this exciting acquisition. In Cairo and Dubai, the group is proactively recruiting industry specialists and currently looking to double office space. It will also continue fulfilling its mission by exploring merger and acquisition opportunities. The aim is to fulfill the mission with like-minded partners who share the same goal.

“We never envisaged Maison Pyramide to be a small boutique owned by all three founders only; we welcome like-minded partners to join us and be part of our exciting global adventure” said Maria Munoz who manages the group’s Public Affairs vertical as well as Egyptian operations.
