You will feel as if you are watching a fresh series, but with the spirit and essence of AlRawabi School for Girls, complete with the same pink frilly set and uniform.

This season, Tima Shomali, the director of the one-of-a-kind series, stars as the highly wise and not-your-typical principle, who listens to the students’ demands and needs. The first season has left everyone heart broken, this season will crush your heart harder, you will definitely need a box of tissues to escort you as you watch the episodes!

The obstacles revealed this season!

The 6-episode series has explored a variety of difficulties that are seen as taboos and that practically every girl encounters today, which are not portrayed in Middle Eastern media. We see the reality of social media platforms like Tiktok, which have made it easier for users to go viral. As well as, how risky social media is and how it can ruin many people’s lives! Sarah believed that joining the famous social media crowd would perfect her life, as do many!

The unhealthy urge we get from our parents as they watch us and desire that we do everything we can to achieve the maximum level of “perfect”. But this usually leaves us with an unhealthy and tired heart and mind.

Bullying can alter how we perceive ourselves and our surroundings. The impact of unneeded words that can be slurred, which can ruin anyone’s world and potential. The theme of “leaving someone out” and its consequences are also stressed and demonstrated throughout the season.

This season also focuses on blackmailing and how victims are represented. It also draws focus on the harsh consequences that come with it. We also see the  eyeing and slurred statements are directed at the victim, and the series advises all viewers on how to deal with blackmail.

Emotional binge eating, a type of eating disorder, was depicted in this season’s episodes. It demonstrated how parents’ strive for perfection for their children can lead to body image issues and eating disorders.

Are you still not hooked?

When we saw the first season trailer, we assumed that it would be the Arab version of ‘Mean Girls’. But this series is far stronger, with weighty messages that speak about the difficulties of this generation. This season is a must-watch if you are looking for a show that showcases women’s issues.

With their incredible chemistry, we can predict that AlRawabi School for Girls’ new cast will become everyone’s new favourites. Tara Abboud, Sarah Youseff, Tara Atalla, Kira Yaghnam, Thalia Alansari, and Raneem Haitham are among the season’s stars.
