Yoga is essential to enhance our lifestyle and survive our stressful lives.  Here are some simple Yoga poses to get those creative juices flowing again!

Child’s Pose

This is one of the simpler poses, with your forehead resting on the mat and arms stretching forward this pose is meant to somewhat isolate you from the outside world and let you tap into your inner child. We were all probably most creative as children, this pose brings you back to that sensation.

Half Moon Pose

This pose is all about coherence throughout your body, just the right amount of balance, strength and ease are required to get into this pose and maintain it. In this position, your body will open up allowing your mind to open up as well!

“The thing with yoga is that you have to be patient, the results and benefits of yoga will slowly unravel themselves with a consistent practice and a mind open to change!”

Pigeon Pose

Our hips and pelvis are the center for creativity, this pose really opens up the hips and is comfortable enough for you to hold for a longer time. We also store a lot of our negative emotions in our hips, so with the negative out we allow space for the positive in.

Wild Thing Pose

When you get into the ‘Wild Thing’ pose your hips, chest and heart will open up and soon you will feel your mind opening up too!

Headstand Pose

This is a more advanced pose, and it’s called the ‘King of Poses’ in the yoga world because of its many benefits. It offers your eyes a fresh viewpoint and your mind will follow. Reversing the flow of energy and blood through your body is bound to get your creativity going.

Corpse pose

This pose is not as easy as it might look, given that you should really silence you mind, clear it from any thoughts and simply focus on your breath! Feel your mind and body slowly relaxing,  sometimes this is all what it takes for some rejuvenation.
