Getting fit isn’t always easy when you have a 9 to 5 job, but there is a way! Here are 6 mini workouts you can squeeze into your day at the office. You are bound to feel and look better in no time!
Wall Sit
Do a wall sit every hour for 30 to 60 seconds, it’s great for the thighs and butt! If you feel like it, you can step away from the wall and do 3 sets of 10 squats. It’s a small price to pay for great legs!
Calf Raises
While waiting for the printer to finish, or water to boil for your coffee, do some calf raises. This will be painful at first but then it becomes a self challenge to do more and more. Tone those calves!
Butt Squeeze
This doesn’t even involve leaving your seat! While sitting on your chair, slowly squeeze your butt and hold for 30 to 60 seconds, at least 5 times. You have no excuse to not be doing this.
Desk Dip
You can either use your desk or your chair for this workout, whichever makes you more comfortable. Do 3 sets of 10 to 15 dips, this will tone your arms and get your triceps working.
Wall Lean
Another workout for the arms, do 3 sets of 10 to 15 of these. It will work your chest and your forearms. It’s a modified, easier version of the classic pushup.
And finally, one last tip: Less E-mails, more Walking!
Instead of sending an email to your colleague down the hall, you can walk up to them. Get the blood flowing in your legs every now and then, plus get your eyes away from that screen as much as you can.
