Authentic Syrian food has always seemed like a delicious, exotic treat, but with this simple recipe you can capture the wonderful Levantine flavors in your own kitchen!
Ingredients:
1 pack shamy bread (cut into medium squares)
500g chicken breast ( cut into small cubes and marinated )
4 tbs mayonnaise
4 tbs tahini
500g Almarai yoghurt
4 cloves of garlic minced
4tbsp vinegar
salt to taste
Method:
-In a medium pan add 2 tbsp oil and put the chicken, grill until cooked.
-In a frying pan, fry the bread until golden NOT brown.
-In a bowl put the Almarai yoghurt, tahini, mayonnaise, garlic, vinegar, and salt; mix well.
-In your serving plate add the bread and chicken, and cover with the yoghurt mixture.
-Add some of your favorite nuts on the top and serve.
