Blue Cheese and Zaatar Sambousek

Ingredients:

Sambousek pastry

5 tablespoons Blue Cheese

2 teaspoons zaatar

½ teaspoon dried mint

1 teaspoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Combine all stuffing ingredients. Use to stuff your sambousek.. Freeze for 20 minutes. Fry and serve right before Iftar!

 

Pickled Lemon Sambousek

Ingredients:

Sambousek pastry

2 large pickled lemons (sliced)

5 tablespoons cottage cheese

2 teaspoons parsley (chopped)

Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

Combine all stuffing ingredients. Use to stuff your sambousek. Freeze for 20 minutes. Fry and serve right before Iftar!

Prep Time: 35 mins

Cook Time: 15-20 mins

Serves: 4
