In commemoration of World AIDS Day, the joint United Nations Programme on HIV/ AIDS (UNAIDS) in Egypt held a unique Red Gala Dinner event at Fairmont Heliopolis, to bring business communities, socialites, and development partners together in support of women and children affected by HIV. The event aimed at advocating for the cause and raising funds for Friends of Life, an NGO that reaches out to people who are living with or affected by HIV to ensure their rights are respected. The event was hosted by Al Bernameg TV host, Dr. Bassem Youssef and with the participation of actress Menna Shalaby, UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador, and actor Khaled Abul Naga, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
