  • Light Fabrics & Colors

When it’s hot and humid, it’s very important to check the fabric tag while shopping. Cotton and linen are the best choices in such climate as they are light, absorbent, and very comfortable to wear. It’s also recommended to avoid dark colors and always go for brighter ones!

  • Cardigans

One of my favorite pieces in summer time is the oversized cardigan. It’s perfect in the hot weather as it is cool and easy to style. Wear it over a loose tee with a good pair of jeans for a casual chic style, or pair it with straight cut trousers and high heels for a more modern look with a modest style.

  • Loose pants / Wide-legged Trousers

Loose pants are strongly back this season, and can give a very conservative chic look if styled well. Many styles of loose trouser are available; choose carefully what suits your body.

Team your loose pants with a more fitted top and tuck it in to keep your outfit neat and balanced. If you want to go more conservative, you can un-tuck your blouse, but make sure the colors match so it won’t kill your figure.

Also, wearing wide-legged trousers with a cropped top and wedges or chunky heels is another great way to style your outfit, giving an edgy, flattering look.

  • Vests and Sleeveless Blazers

Coloring your outfit with a chic, well-fitted vest can effortlessly smarten up your outfit. The key is to get it long enough to cover your hips. Layer your vest over any sleeved top and you are good to go! It’s versatile and you can style it in many different ways, you can pair it with boyfriend jeans, wide-leg trousers, straight cut pants, and skirts perhaps!

  • Maxi Dresses & Skirts

Maxi dresses and flowy skirts are always trendy. The trick is to choose lighter fabrics in lighter colors to beat the heat. You can wear them with sandals or heels. Also you can wear them with a pointy flats as a comfier alternative to heels!
