Hot Air Balloon ride

Banana Island
The name of the island says it all! You will get to eat the most delicious bananas you have ever had and meet some real Luxor locals. Visiting the Banana Island could be done as part of the Feluca ride. It’s a fun experience for the whole family or a group of friends.

Karnak
This is an obvious choice! Karnak has many historical buildings and monuments, it’s a place that you will want to visit several time in order to cover it all. They have a sound & light show in the evenings that will pretty much sum up the story of the Karnak. This will come in handy if you don’t have enough time and want to avoid the sun.
Hatshepsut’s Deir El Bahary Temple
This was a temple for Queen Hatshepsut, it’s built right beneath the mountain that surrounds it. It’s known to be one of the most beautiful temples! It’s located very close to The Valley of the Kings, so you could visit them together.

Valley of the Kings
Who would pass up the opportunity to visit the tombs of some of Egypt’s most famous Pharaohs? Valley of the Kings is so large parts of it are still being discovered! It has over 120 chambers, each one unique in its own way!
Feluca Ride
The Nile you see in Luxor is very different from the one you see in Cairo, crystal clear waters and fresh air. You can take a felucca along the Nile to watch the sunset; the scenery is breathtaking. Felucas are one of the main means of transportation in Luxor, so this is something you will have to experience.
Eat Local
The local food in Luxor is worth the travel on its own! The people are very welcoming and make mouthwatering Egyptian food with their own Southern twist.

Horse carriage ride
This is a very touristy thing to do, but nonetheless fun. Riding it, you won’t be able to get Luxor Baladna Balad Sowa7 out of your head! Taking this ride around the whole city is another people’s favorite; you get to see all of Luxor by night and maybe get some sugar cane juice for refreshment!
