Garlic and Rosemary Steak and Potatoes Skillet

Rest of Ingredients:

8-10 baby potatoes, halved

Salt and pepper

Olive oil

2 butter cubes, separated

Fresh rosemary

4 cloves of garlic, minced


Beef Marinade:

500g beef fillet strips

1/3 cup light soy sauce

1 tbsp sriracha sauce or hot sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

Freshly cracked black pepper



Mix beef marinade ingredients and place the beef strips and let marinate for 30 minutes. Wash baby potatoes very well without peeling them, then cut into halves (or quarters if they are big). In a pot, add one liter of water. When it starts boiling, add five tablespoons of salt then add your potatoes and let them cook for 8-10 minutes. When potatoes are done, remove from heat and drain immediately. In a hot skillet (on medium high heat) add olive oil and one cube of butter, then layer potatoes and flip every four minutes until they are golden and fork tender, then take them out. On high heat, put the same skillet, add olive oil and spread beef strips evenly (avoid overcrowding the skillet, you can cook them in batches) Add one cube of butter and minced garlic to the beef then brush it with rosemary sprig and leave it for five minutes. Add potatoes to the beef skillet, give them a stir then serve.f
