The Harry Potter movies were filmed at many different locations, but these two are guaranteed to make feel the magic!

Gloucester Cathedral UK

If you visit this location you want to take a look at the interiors of the building. The staircase and halls will give you that nostalgic Harry Potter vibe.

 

 Alnwick Castle, Northumberland

If you want to see where Harry Potter first learned how to ride that broom you should visit the Alnwick Castle. Once you go there you will feel like you’re suddenly living in the movie!

Narnia

Woodhill forest – New Zealand

This is where the White Witches Camp was set, not only will you get to see where the witch lived but you can go bike hiking too!

Aslan’s camp was portrayed here, the Elephant Rocks are the main place where Aslan’s camp was set. This place is a natural beauty, geographical formations that have been talking place for millions of years, it’s truly a work of art.

The Hobbit

Matamata – New Zealand

You would think such a beautiful green place wouldn’t be real, but it is! It’s a beautiful sheep farm in New Zealand which has now become a big tourist attraction. Definitely a set to visit!

Game of Thrones

Castle Ward, County Down, Northern Ireland

This place magically transforms into Winterfell where Stark House rules. For you Game of Thrones fans, this is definitely a must go.

Limestone Azure Window, Gozo, Malta

You could easily recognize this place from the first series where Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen have their wedding, but still it’s a very enchanting place that all fans should visit.

There is no doubt that after finishing that 3 hour movie everyone was gushing about the incredible landscape and scenery. And we thought it was animated until I found out it’s located in Hawaii!

Pirates of the Caribbean

This is definitely one of your favorites; the best part is they tried to leave everything as it was during the filming of the movie. They have recently made a pirate themed museum which is also great, it’s a big tourist attraction!

Anchor Bay, Malta

This colorful little village on the coast of Malta was built especially for the movie. After they were done they realized it would be cheaper to abandon is than to tear it down. So voila! It’s still there.

Most of the movie Troy was set on this beach in Malta. Even though now it’s pretty much just another normal beach, many of the movies fans still go for a visit. If you’re a fan, you will definitely recognize it.
