Donia Wael Closes Her EP With a Live Session That Marks a New Era

Donia Wael

Donia Wael released Ezay, the final single off her introspective EP Bifkrny Beek. But, this release comes with a twist. For the first time, Donia performs live alongside an all-female band. This live performance marks a bold step into a fuller, more embodied chapter of her musical journey.

The Band

The band consists of four aspiring female artists who are paving their way in the music scene with their refreshing sound. Maram Elsabbagh’s keys, Randa Shoukry’s electric guitar, Dalia Abdelaziz’s percussion, and Sama Sherif’s cello harmonize to create this sound. Their presence adds a layer of coziness to the performance.

A Dive into “Ezay”

The live session is a gentle, grounded performance—yet powerful in its presence. “Ezay” arrives as a final emotional release on an EP that journeys through heartbreak, reflection, and healing. In this track, Donia’s voice is steadier, more self-possessed. Her lyrics—intimate and vulnerable—are held up by a lush, live arrangement that mirrors her growth as both a musician and storyteller.

This performance also signals Donia’s expanding musical world. After her foray into acting (El Harsha El Sabaa, Rivo), and the viral success of tracks like Bekya and El 3asal, Donia Wael is re-grounding herself in music—only now, with more clarity and creative control.
