Comfort food doesn’t have to be takeout from your favorite restaurant. A healthy alternative is making your own comfort food. And what’s more comforting than Chinese fast food?
Ingredients:
3 packets noodles
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
½ kilo beef strips
½ cup sliced mushrooms
½ cup chopped onions
2 chopped garlic cloves
1 teaspoon shredded fresh ginger
2 sliced carrots
3 sliced zucchini
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
Directions:
Put noodles in hot water for 7-10 minutes, then remove from water and set aside.
Heat up a wok then add vegetable oil, when very hot add beef strips and stir until almost cooked, put them to the side with a wooden spoon and add onions, mushrooms, carrots and zucchini in the same wok. Stir them for about 5 minutes then mix all together with the beef for a few minutes.
Add garlic and ginger to the mixture and as soon as their aroma starts coming out, add soy sauce and oyster sauce.
