Creamy Chocolate and Date Tart Powered by Nestle

Impress your guests with this decadent chocolate and date tart for special Ramadan delicious treat.


Prep time: 20 min   Cooking time: 30 min        Serves: 6 people

180 grams unsalted melted butter

150 grams brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1.75 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

2 cups oats


1 can Nestlé Sweetened  Condensed Milk

1 cup dark chocolate chips

¼ cup melted unsalted butter

¾ cups shredded coconut

1 ½ cups of dates

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla


  1. Mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together in a large bowl. Then, add the flour, baking powder and oats and mix.
  2. Add half of the mixture in a buttered baking pan and then place it in the fridge to cool.
  3. The filling:

In a separate bowl add dates, butter and the can of Nestlé Sweetened Condensed Milk. Then add nuts, chocolate chips, vanilla, and cinnamon. Place the filling to the baking pan that has chilled and then add the remaining half of the dough on top. Put in a heated 180 °C oven for 25-30 minutes or until it turns golden brown. Then take it out of the oven to cool.
