“Baheya” is based on the Youssef Chahine character from the movie Al Osfour (The Sparrow) that was personified by the serious actress Mohsena Tawfik. Baheya is a return to the beauty of the Egyptian woman through a unique line of clothing that is unprecedented in it loyalty to the traditional Egyptian garb. Randa Haggag has utilized the texture, colors, materials and prints of the Arish (North Sinai) national dress to create a modern prêt-a-porter line of clothing.
