There is a place like no place on earth. A land full of wonder, mystery and danger! Some say to survive it you need to be as mad as a hatter.

Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska is an interesting movie to watch with your family. However, if you’re an imaginative person or a big fan of animations, this movie will certainly fail to meet your expectations. The events of the movie are sometimes boring and lack the surprises expected from fantasy movies. On the other hand the movie represents the wonderland in a new way that is not a spacious green area, pretty and colorful. Instead, wonderland this time is a little bit dark and frightening with so many creative sets and scenes which made it more believable and eye-catching.

Having watched the movie, whether you like it or not, you will certainly take your hat off to the unusual acting talent of Johnny Depp “the mad hatter”. Whenever he is on screen he brings in such great energy and entertainment with his fantastic performance. His talent may even reach out to affect “the white queen” Anne Hathaway who at times seemed to be imitating “Captain Jack Sparrow”.

The plot line of the movie is “nothing is impossible unless you believe it is”. Alice tried to believe in as many as six impossible things before breakfast. One, there are drinks that make you shrink. Two, there are foods that make you grow. Three, animals can talk. Four, cats can disappear. Five, there is a place called Underland. Six, she can slay the Jabberwocky. The movie proves all wrong. So if you’re already intrigued to find out how it does, you simply need to watch the movie till the very last minute.
