Mohamed Rabee’ – Available at Kotob Khan
A novel by a young engineer and writer Mohamed Rabee’ explores an average man’s life of daily grind in a dead end job. The tension between this man’s life and society in the novel reflects that hard edge city of Cairo and political turbulence that resembles Egypt today. This second book of Rabee’ comes after a successful first “Kawkab Anbar” under the mentoring of Yasser Abdullah, which won first prize in young writer’s award from Sawiras Culture Foundation for 2011.
