Celebrating Creativity: The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards 2024

Following the success of last year’s edition, the Creative Industry Summit is hosting the second edition of The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards. It will honor the best Ramadan TV series and advertisements of 2024, allowing the public to play an integral role in the decision-making process. With the voting window now open until October 14, audiences are encouraged to cast their votes ahead of the ceremony scheduled for October 20.

The People’s Choice Ramadan Awards stand out as a unique platform that celebrates exceptional achievements in Ramadan media. The Categories of Excellence

The four finalists for each award in the drama and comedy series categories from the Ramadan season have been announced. These categories include the award for Best Dramatic Actor, with finalists Karim Abdel Aziz, Essam Omar, Mohamed Shaheen, and Basem Samra. The Best Dramatic Actress award features Salma Abu Deif, Mai Omar, Asmaa Abu El Yazid, and Aisha Ben Ahmed. In the Best Comedy Actor category, the finalists are Sherif Salama, Hisham Maged, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Akram Hosny. For the Best Comedy Actress award, the finalists include Dina El Sherbiny, Asmaa Galal, Aya Samaha, and Rahma Ahmed.

The four finalists for each award in the advertising category have been announced as well. Competing for the Best Advertising Agency award are Media Hub, Tarek Nour Communications, Synergy, and Circus. For the Best Jingle Writer award, the finalists are Ayman Bahgat Qamar, Aziz El Shafie, Mena Adly El Qeiy, and Tamer Mahdy. In the Best Creative Team category, the finalists are Media Hub, Synergy, Tarek Nour Communications, and Fortune Promoseven Cairo. The Best Creative Director award sees competition among Ashraf Said Nassar, Mohamed Nasif, Mohamed Zohair, and Hussein Diaa. These awards are part of a broader set of categories that honor creativity and excellence in various fields.

Mai Salama, Founding Partner of the Creative Industry Summit, emphasizes the awards’ role in connecting professionals across creative sectors. “These awards provide an opportunity for the audience to express their opinions while maintaining professionalism and neutrality,” she stated. Since its inception in 2014, the Creative Industry Summit has aimed to cultivate creativity and empower talents across various fields.

For example, last year, Taha El Desouki gave up his award for Best Rising Actor in the series “El Soffara” to child actor Omar Sherif, in recognition of his role in the series “Taht El Wesaya”.
