10 Sanitary Items You Need When Going on a Safari Trip!

 

When going on a safari trip you don’t always get the luxury of bathrooms, running water and things of the sort. Here are some items you need to keep your hygiene intact. You can thank us later!

 

  1. Mini Toothbrush and Toothpaste

These are obvious ones but if you forget them you would be in trouble, so consider this a reminder! Get the travel-sized ones to make your life easier.

 

  1. Sanitizer/Wipes

This doesn’t need much explanation, Safari trips don’t take place in the cleanest areas so try to make it a habit to sanitize your hands every few hours to stay on the safe side.

 

  1. Medication

By medication we mean if you have anything like allergies or asthma. Also take the usual painkiller or Aspirin, and of course something in case of stomach problems.

Safaris involve a lot of walking and spending long hours on your feet. Spray some of this every morning before you start your day to keep your feet as fresh as possible. There’s nothing worse than being stuck with stinky shoes for the rest of your trip.

You would be lucky if you get to take a proper shower, so dry shampoo will be your best friend. It instantly takes some of the grease out of your hair and adds a fresh smell.

If you will be sleeping in a tent, you want to make sure you keep those pesky little insects off your skin. Get some Off Spray and make sure you stay bug-bite-free.

You don’t really know when that period is going to hit you, it might come early just to piss you off. So be a few steps ahead and always keep a few pads with you.
