Every time you eat falafel at Zooba, you’re eating International award-winning falafel! On May 1st, Labor Day, Borough Market was filled to the brim with deliciousness as four falafel masters competed in the very first London Falafel Festival. Egypt’s very own Chef Mustafa Elrefaey of Zooba competed and represented Egypt featuring his creative charred-aubergine-stuffed falafel, served over baba ghanouj and drizzled with delicious beetroot and hibiscus tahini. People got to try out all four chef’s creations and ended up voting for Chef Mustafa’s falafel!
