What’s doxing?
Doxing (or doxxing) is the act of collecting and spreading someone’s personal information to shame, embarrass, expose, or intimidate them. This information can be obtained from private sources or public records, which are used for the wrong purposes.
Like sharing someone’s phone number without their consent in Facebook groups, sharing false information or ads with someone’s phone number attached.
This act can escalate into stalking or other criminal conduct.
