Can’t stop dreaming about summer with its beach days, picturesque sunsets and memorable hangouts? What better way to put yourself in the mood than with Lebanese artist Talia Lahoud ’s new single “Wein Hal Ghaybe”? The song is an energetic and romantic track that captures the carefree essence of summer.

This track is co-written and produced by Talia and long-time collaborator Jamal Yassine. It expresses the joy of chance encounters and youthful love.

“This song isn’t about something I lived – it’s pure fantasy,” Lahoud shares. “It’s about seeing someone you haven’t met in years, and for a moment, it feels like no time has passed. That spark, that joy, that nostalgia – I wanted to bottle it in a song.”

The melody will have you humming and dancing along. Accompanying the release is a visually stunning AI-animated lyric video illustrated by Mahmoud Sabry. He was also behind her “Aali Sawtak” visuals.

The video depicts a couple doing all sorts of activities such as admiring paper lanterns, watching fireworks, dancing, riding bicycles and going to the arcade. Bright pink, orange and blue colours overtake the video to transport you to a romantic summer night.

More About Talia:

To tease the single, Talia Lahoud performed it live at Casino du Liban on April 11, where she opened for beloved Jordanian artist Aziz Maraka. Her mesmerizing vocals and lyrics electrified the crowd.

This new single seems to be following in the footsteps of her two previous successes: “Aali Sawtak” and Gharabi, which is her debut album. It featured the track “Samra” later remixed by Abo El Anwar.

Talia is a triple threat: musician, songstress and producer who first got her big break on TikTok. Her song “Samra” won TikTok MENA’s “Song Of The Summer” in 2023. Having the ability to write and perform in Arabic, English and French has allowed her to redefine contemporary Arabic Pop and connect with diverse audiences.
