The leading English literary journal has published its fourth edition! The event was celebrated in TGIFriday’s with music, readings and lots and lots of culture! Readings from the contributors to this edition of Rowayat, including prominent journalist Mohamed El-Shabah, were made during the cultural event. As well as a poetry reading by award-winning poet, Hermes.
Up and coming Egyptian hip-hop artist, Deeb, delighted everyone with his performance, as well as he did with his contribution to Rowayat. Also, the founder and CEO of Rowayat, Sherine Elbanhawy, awarded the winners of our fourth student writing competition, Shahira Ahmed and Hana Hazem.
The launch party ended with a book-signing event for authors Mamdouh Sakr and Gretchen Mccullough.
