Rouzbeh Pasha is Head of Emerging Markets for Skype, the leading global Internet communications company.
Rouzbeh joined Skype in July 2005 as Business Development Manager for eCommerce, a role in which he successfully launched and managed Skype online stores in 15 countries and 12 languages across Europe and North America. He then moved on to become Business Manager for Skype’s Premium Voice Service programme (PVS), where he set up and launched a new generation of Skype PVS.
In January 2009 he took the lead on the company’s MEA operations, where he is responsible for Skype’s market development and partnership strategies in the region.
Prior to joining Skype, Rouzbeh co-founded Tecc Info Systems Scandinavia (TIS), a company offering digital point of sales communications and marketing solutions. He also held business development positions at Waterlink Beijing, Pilotfish Networks (PEN) and Ericsson Microwave Systems.
Rouzbeh has an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
