Mountain View’s iCity Project was launched in a recent ceremony attended by HE Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development, HE Dalia Khorshid, Minister of Investment, as well as Mr. Amr Soliman, Founder and Chairman of Mountain View; Ayman Ismail, Chairman of Dar Al Mimar Group (DMG); Ali Al- Sharif, President of Sisban Holding, several businessmen, celebrities and press from Egypt and the Arab world. Mountain View iCity was unveiled by the Ministry of Housing represented by the New Urban Communities and Egyptian-Saudi Alliance Mountain View-Sisban. The upcoming project is set to be developed in New Cairo City with investments exceeding a whopping $3.6 billion! This can be considered Egypt’s biggest upcoming project.

This real estate project comprises of 20 million Sq. Meters residential units, on a total area of 2.1 square kilometers. It aims to provide modern residential units that are affordable. The project is expected to provide more than 200,000 job opportunities, which Egypt can definitely benefit from! The project is also considered one of the first major projects in Egypt that are the result of a public-private partnership. The Mountain View-Sisban will own 60% and the remaining percent will be owned by the Egyptian Ministry of Housing, represented by New Urban Communities Authority.
The architectural work will be done by DMG, in partnership with Callison RTKL Associates. They will partner up in drawing the design and layout of this project. The partners plan on combining innovative design with modern construction. An all-Egyptian manpower will be used to build a world-class standard; a true national project made to support the national economy and attract foreign investment!
