In a film depicting a real life event that took place in February 2002 known as Al Ayat train tragedy, screenwriter Ahmed Abdullah brings the sad story to life in one-of-a-kind Egyptian film that focuses on a specific event. The film tells the story of 12 characters who are simply trying to survive through their journey on a train for an hour and a half until the devastating end. Director Wael Ehsan together with well-established actors like Karima Mokhtar and young rising actors like Yousra El Lozy take the audience to the core of Egypt’s sour reality of social problems and aspiring dreams of simple Egyptians.
