What is FaddetZaman?
Faddetzaman, or silver from the past, is a non-profit project. It aims to financially support the works of Al-Rawat for Studies and Research Institute, which documents Palestinian oral history through recording oral narratives. In doing so, they spotlight the stories of marginalized groups that were left out when history was written. It documents Palestinian oral history through four projects: Palestinians displaced from their lands in 1948 and again in 1967, documenting the lives of pioneering women, documenting the stories of the wounded of the 2014 aggression on Gaza, and documenting Palestinian jewelry.
