Edited by Yara Al Sayes

Ramadan is upon us! When you ask adults what they associate Ramadan with, Bougy w Tamtam are always among their answers. The well-known show aired every year in Ramadan from 1983 to 2009 and was 30 seasons long! It revolves around Bougy and Tamtam, their adventures, and how they deal with family and friends. To this day, no one knows who or what they are, and how they’re related, but we won’t go there. The issue here is that they’ve become overused every Ramadan to the extent that people can’t stand them anymore.

Enough with the ‘Nostalgic’ Bougy w Tamtam Ramadan Advertisements

For the last couple of years, the nostalgic Ramadan ads featuring Bougy and Tamtam – among other characters – have been shoved down our throats by popular companies.
