Dubai is one of the most dazzling cities in the Gulf. From shopping to glitz and glamour over to state of the art architecture, Dubai has it all. On a long weekend we flew in to check out all the great adventures Dubai has to offer.
The city is a symbol of a dynamic and prosperous Middle East. You can’t attribute the enormous flair of Dubai to oil reserves, but to hard work, belief and aspiring initiative. Amazing architecture, stunning work of art and fascinating views is what Dubai is all about. We spent four days in the sparkling city on a ride of fun and adventure. One hour we are on a boat trip at 45C and the next hour we are in Dubai’s ski resort with a temperature of -3 C! Yes, it was worth the insanity.
The Emirates Airlines Airbus A380 embraced us with ultimate comfort, entertainment and most importantly environmental protection. Their Business Class was surely a great treat to pamper yourself during the flight. Every seat has an aisle access, a digital widescreen TV, a worktable and converts into a full flatbed putting us in control of a flight of indulgence. There is no better way to fly!

- BurjKhalifa
Watching Dubai from over 828 metres (2,716.5 feet) was incredible! BurjKhalifa is the tallest building in the world with the highest outdoor observation deck in the world and of course the tallest service elevator in the world. The towerembraces several homes and offices as well as the prestigious Armani Hotel, the world’s first hotel designed and developed by Giorgio Armani.
- Ski Dubai
Your inner child will explode the minute you enter Ski Dubai. Located in the Mall of the Emirates,this Ski Resort is a wonderland on its own. It’s the world’s largest indoor snow park. Whether you are skiing, snowboarding or just playing in the snow you’ll have the time of your life!
- Cruises
We took a water cruise down Dubai’s Creek where old meets new and luxury meets tradition. We rode in an Abra, a water taxi and had one of the best Arabian experiences. The next day we decided on a boat trip from which we viewed the fascinating places of the city like the ultra luxurious town of Jumeirah with itscoastal residential and the infamous mark of Dubai,Burj El Arab Hotel.
- Off-road Safari
Dubai is the desert rose of the Middle East. Our screams up and down the desert dunes beat rollercoaster screams! The safari in Dubai’s desert is extremely thrilling. We watched a Falconry show which is the hunting of wild falcon that is trained to revolve around the desert and come back to the falconer. We had a safari dinner watching a belly dance show and nothing can beat Dubai’s safari coffee and dates!
- Shopping Mania
Dubai is infamous for its shopping craze. With many fancy malls like Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall (Dubai Shopping Festival) and Burjuman Center, you’ll find yourself in the middle of a shopping haven! Whether you’re looking for high end brands or high street, Dubai is certainly the destination for fashionistas.

Dubai Festival City optimizes the thriving and visionary spirit of Dubai. It has the finest residential, shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment, international hotels, schools, golf course, automotive park and offices. Modhesh World is a brand of the Festival City. It’s a wonderland for kids and adults where we ended our Dubai trip.
