On an incredibly hot and humid morning, several of Cairo’s dance freaks, party goers, movers and shakers put on their Converse and hopped into Fairmont’s Sky Pool to beat the heat.
Nothing says “Hello Summer” like a warm day spent on the roof, cocktail in hand and converse on foot, dancing the morning into a night with dance-enthusiasts like TV and Radio Host Sherif Nour El-din, Singer and Actor Wael Mansour and Beauty and Nail Expert Laurice Matta.
We proved to our readers that it’s possible to party in comfort and still look hot by making a fashion statement before the party. Our Editorial Coordinator styled up her converse with three different party outfits for readers to chose from, and attended the party in the most voted for outfit.
The converse-supported Anniversary party featured the beats of Dj Shawky, Anton Ishutin and Inner Rebels.
With the light breeze in our hair, the music in our ears and the sun in our eyes, we wished Back 2 Basics a happy birthday, and danced the morning into a night in both style and comfort—proving that you don’t need to sacrifice one for the other!
