El-Sayed Nosseir

El-Sayed Nosseir’s victory at the Olympics was nothing short of historic. As Egypt’s first gold medalist, Nosseir has set a new benchmark for future athletes. Feryal Abdelaziz

Feryal Abdelaziz is the first Egyptian woman to win an Olympic gold medal.  She won the gold medal in the women’s +61 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympicsheld in Tokyo, Japan. Her victory marks a significant milestone in Egyptian sports history, highlighting the growing presence and influence of female. Abdelaziz’s achievement is a beacon of hope and empowerment for young women across the nation, proving that determination and hard work can break even the most formidable barriers.

Abeer Abdelrahman

Abeer Abdelrahman’s bronze medal at the Olympics was another monumental achievement for Egyptian sports. As the first female Olympic medalist from Egypt, Abdelrahman has etched her name in history with a performance that embodies strength, and perseverance. She competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics and finished in fifth place at both Games. In 2016, Abdelrahman became the first Egyptian woman to win an Olympic medal after the original gold, silver, and bronze medal winners were disqualified due to doping.

Nada Hafez
