On cold winter nights, there is nothing better than snuggling up with your favorite hot drink, warm snack and blanket. Here are two recipes that are guaranteed to warm you up.
Chili Hot Cocoa:
We’ve already mentioned the importance of snuggling. This drink will give your soul a proper snuggle. It’s very simple.
Ingredients:
3 teaspoons cocoa powder
Milk
Pinch of chili, ginger and cinnamon powder
Sugar
Mix all the powdered ingredients and then add boiling water up to the middle of the cup. Add milk to fill the rest of it and stir. Sugar is optional but can always be used to your liking.
Garlic, Butter and Cheese Popcorn:
This is absolutely perfect for whenever it’s too cold to go out and a movie night is in order.
Ingredients:
One big bowl of popped popcorn
2-3 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons butter
Half a cup cheese (parmesan or cheddar would be ideal)
Place the popped popcorn in a bowl and then in a separate pan stir the garlic cloves (minced) into melted butter over medium heat. Stir until golden and then add to the popcorn and toss until mixed properly. Add in the cheese right afterwards and toss again. Enjoy!
