This is one of the few times that a horror film receives so many good reviews. The film, directed by Mike Flanagan, has been positively received by critics and audiences. It revolves around Tim, played by Brenton Thwaites, and his sister, Kaylie played by Doctor Who star, Karen Gillan. Tim is convicted of murdering his father after he saw him kill his mother. However, Kaylie believes that a supernatural being is the one responsible for her parents’ death. The film’s events unravel as she tries to prove her brother’s innocence.
