Yes creative dining! Everything in the menu is done by a creative cooking method that will leave you with numerous recipe questions. We were lucky to go there on a midweek dinner and we were amazed by the great hospitality and the ‘Degustation Menu’ selection.
This kind of menu offers soup, main course and dessert in an unconventional way. We started with the white onion and thyme Veloute that was warm and delicious for a winter dinner. Their butter poached lobster is a league of it’s own. Very juicy and very delicious! It’s blended with beetroot essence and pomme maxim and that’s when creativity takes place.
The French poularde chicken and black truffle jus is a colorful dish that consists of chicken and 3 kinds of vegetables separately blended to provide a tasty awe to the dish. Seriously, their award winning New Zealander chef knows what he is doing!
The most rewarding part of the dinner was when we tried out the Valrhona chocolate textures. This was indulgence at its best! A quality chocolate tart covered with a glittering layer is all what women really want!
