The aspiring young writer and director come to us this year with a book and a film. ‘Lamo Akhza’ is a comedy written and directed by Amr Slama about a Christian boy, who goes to a new school, and is mistaken for being a Muslim. The highly anticipated script finally got accepted by the Egyptian censorship authorities. His new book ‘Rasa’l Torad lel Morsal’ is compiled of short stories expected to be released this month, and will be available at Cairo International Book Fair.
