A good home-made Shish Tawook is enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face, so for the perfect flavors with a sensational Beetroot dip, try out this recipe!
500g chicken breasts
3 tbsp olive oil
1 pack of Knorr shish tawook mix
Wooden sticks for grill
For the Dip:
2tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp ground coriander
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp paprika
Prep Time: 20mins
Cooking Time: 15mins
-Soak wooden sticks in water to avoid burning during grilling.
-Cut chicken breasts into cubes. Combine with olive oil and Knorr shish tawook pack until well mixed. Place in fridge for 15mins to chill.
-Remove from fridge and place chicken cubes on the wooden sticks. 3 or 4 pieces per stick. Put the wooden sticks on a hot grill, check every 5mins to turn over until well-cooked.
-You can’t beat a good beetroot dip! To make the dip, peel and chop the beetroot. Place in a blender with the garlic, lemon, oil, coriander, cumin and paprika.
-Blend until even consistency and serve with hot Shish Tawook.
