12 Glorious Moments that Only a Working Woman will Understand!

As we get older and busier, we realize that our goals in life become very simple and that we were taking things for granted in our past! Things like…

Shower, AC and a Warm Bed

After a long day of work and errands, you go home, take a shower and jump into bed. Enveloped in your fluffy sheets, you suddenly realize that nothing in the world ever felt this good!

A vacation away from civilization is sometimes the most glorious thing a working woman can have.”

When your Cup of Coffee is Just Right

This could make or break your day! Having your cup of coffee is sometimes the one joy you have in the morning. At least that is the case when it’s done just the way you like it; not too hot and not too sweet, just right!

When your Holiday Destination is the Place with Fewer People

You realize you have a few days off and want to make the most of them, so you decide to travel. You keep looking for places that will be as deserted as possible and a place you know you won’t meet anyone you know. A vacation away from civilization is sometimes the most glorious thing a working woman can have.

The Sound of Sleeping Kids

As much as you love your children, you love then even more when they are sleeping! Finally putting them to bed and getting a few hours of me time is priceless!

When you Know you Have Food for the Next Day

We all love food, so when you’re almost done at work and you think of what you’re making for lunch, and hits you that you have leftovers or that your mom sent you some ma7shi last night. The smile will never leave your face at this point. All the food and none of the effort!

A Clean House

When you’re done with work and arrive right after the cleaning lady has left. You are greeted with the scent of disinfectant and cleaning products, shiny floors, clean tables, a TV where you can actually see what’s on rather than little dust particles. Then you know that you can lay around and do nothing for the next couple of days.

A New Series you can Binge on

When you watch the first few episodes of a new series and you’re hooked! You have the whole series ahead of you and you know you don’t have to leave bed all weekend. You got your series, a box of chocolates and your bed!

When your Parents are Visiting

You will never appreciate this moment until you have kids and are in dire need for someone to take them off your hands. As soon as your parents ring that doorbell, you can go shopping, take a nap, the opportunities are endless!

Turning Off your Alarm on Thursday Night

The sound of your alarm is one of the worst sounds you will ever hear. So when you finally get to turn that sucker off on Thursday night, you sleep with a smile on your face!

“You got your series, a box of chocolates and your bed!”

When the Hamper is Empty *happy tears*

Laundry is one of those things that you keep putting off until it overflows (and you run out of underwear, admit it). It’s such a happy moment when the hamper is empty, although this doesn’t last long, we still cherish that moment.

 Home Alone

A moment of peace and quiet! Everyone has made plans and are leaving the house and you finally have a few hours to yourself. Although you won’t do much, probably watch TV or sit in bed, it’s still a glorious moment!

“It’s such a happy moment when the hamper is empty, although this doesn’t last long, we still cherish that moment.”

The Perfect Parking Spot

Finding a parking spot right under your house or office in Cairo is not easy. Who knew that those few extra steps would make such a big difference to your day? This only shows how lazy we are, but we love our parking spots close to our destination. It is also vital for the parking space to be nestled in a spot away from the sun, because nobody likes to return to a boiling hot car.
