In a Frida Khalo themed event, Le Meridien Cairo Airport held the opening party of their latest restaurants, the Lebanese Mezzeh and the Asian Indochine.
Guests got to enjoy the best of both worlds when they were invited first for drinks and socializing over sampling Mezzeh’s delicious appetizers, and then to Indochine for an exclusive fashion show.
Indochine’s beautifully laid out décor created the perfect setting for the Frida Kahlo themed fashion show. Models walked down a built-in catwalk wearing the creative designs of fashion Designers Farida Temraz and Nada Akram.
The restaurant’s beautiful ambience reflects Asian serenity and subtlety and is bound to become an attraction to any restaurant goers. The large terrace outside Indochine is also prepped in tables for guests who prefer the outdoor dining experience.
Dishes varied between ethnic cuisines from Singapore, classic Chinese, Indian and Malay cuisines and some European touches. The cuisine selection is brought directly from South East Asia and tweaked to suit every taste, without neglecting its roots.
After the Fashion show, guests gathered on the terrace for a few minutes of socializing, while DJ Khaled Hussein provided great entertainment and South African bartender Denzel Heath mixed delicious, South-East-Asia-inspired cocktails.
