Last December witnessed Lilian Wagdy’s very first photography gallery. The gallery, set up in Alqa’a Aldaiqa in Mohamed Mahmoud Street, included Lilian’s strikingly beautiful portraits.
Her scrutinizing lens captured intriguing images where the smallest details were amplified. Lilian’s models occasionally portrayed characters like Alex Delarge and Charlie Chaplin. Her profound, yet humorous work flirted with gender-bending, while tipping its hat to pop culture legends.
Lilian is a photographer, director, video journalist and a blogger. Her first film “Al Soura” was screened during the Cairo International Festival for Women’s Cinema in 2013.
We admire her work!
