One Year after the revolution, what are your feelings? I feel we still have a long way to go, but I’m hopeful. The people who generously gave their lives did not do so in vain.  A ‘New Egypt’ for me should look beautifully free of prejudice, a place where people are free to blossom into individuals.

What’s on your wish list for 2012? On a national level, gaining the rights the revolution is asking for. On a personal level, working with underprivileged children and taking up contemporary dancing.

Do you think our society is celebrity oriented? Yes and that is something celebrities should be keenly aware of. You can influentially do a lot of good.

What are your points of weakness & strength? Weakness is hearing a child cry and chocolate (smiles). A strength is that I always try to find a solution. I don’t believe anything is unsolvable.

How do you get to chill after long days of shooting? Lots of sleep, eating healthy and taking long walks.

You started your acting career after your 20’s, Do you think women could start out a whole new life at any age? I think for both women and men beginnings are never limited to a number. I love beginnings like mornings.

As a mother, how do you spend quality time with your little girls? Do you have any tips for working mums? At home I usually sit with my girls and we talk and eat popcorn or we dance or go out for ice-cream. Always schedule a little time for yourself to refuel.

What’s the best thing you ever cooked? Do you have recipe secrets? Lasagne. Yes, one small secret: I always add a pinch of sugar to anything I cook.

You have a wonderful complexion, how do you keep up with that? I’ve been trying to make healthier food choices, which consequently is reflected in your reflection. Also, a chamomile face steam works wonders.

Do you know what women want? Being loved for who they are.
